Note from Julian (jr@ms.maus.de): The original archive contained an
outdated version of Speedo. I've replaced it. The following is the
original readme:

Here's a beta release of MultiTOS 1.08. The pieces should replace
your existing MultiTOS executables, except for the new program
(DOCK.PRG) which you can put anywhere you keep executables.

The following changes have been made:

(1) The GEM.SYS file now runs on 68000 machines.

(2) The SMALLER gadget has been moved from 0x1000 to 0x4000, for
compatibility with PC-GEM and some 3rd party products for the
    Atari.

(3) There is a new file selector. This is still very much experimental,
and we will no doubt make changes in the interface before the
    final release to the public.

(4) The iconify code now tiles windows along the bottom of the screen.

(5) MINT.PRG now allows device drivers to be loaded at boot time,
in the form of *.XDD files (just like *.XFS).

(6) File systems may be installed and removed at run time. See the
    Dcntl manual page for details.

(7) MINIWIN.APP now allows you to save preferences on a per-application
basis, as well as establishing global defaults.

(8) Several bugs have been fixed.

The DOCK program is like the "dock" on the NeXT; it's a window where you
can put frequently used applications. You run it by double-clicking
on it, and you can then drag applications (or files) from desktop windows
into DOCK's window.
