QuickBBS -> Octopus userlist converter v0.90 (30 October 1994)
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

* Fixed small bug when initializing GEM.

TIP when you want to convert a QBBS userlist:

Create a UserLimits structure from your QBBS LIMITS.CTL and give
the values simulair privilege names, works much easyer while
converting.

QuickBBS -> Octopus userlist converter v0.80 (15 September 1994)
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

Hello freaks!

Some of the Octopus testers know that there's an old conversion
programm called QBBS_OCT.TTP to convert the userlist. This programm
was not very up-to date and i lost my source of it a long time ago.

I decided to rewrite it and here it is... A usefull programm which
can convert your complete QBBS userlist to a list compatible with
Octopus v0.59 and higher.

The conversion programm is totally re-written in GEM and is much
easyer to use and you can set/clear some options & flags for the
conversion of the userlist. I'll add some of them also to the
Octopus User editor.

How to use it?
""""""""""""""
First after startup (put this programm by your other Octopus files,
this isn't needed when you use the OCTOPUS environment variables) &
select the path/userfile from QuickBBS. It's important that the
optional LIMITS.CTL file can be found into the same path and click
on the convert button.

The LIMITS.CTL file used by Quick is optional, Octopus asks you while
converting to the conversion privilege so you can decide about it and
every new found privilege (used in the QBBS userlist) will be asked
first before a new Octopus privilege.

Just try & see...

If you have problems or other userfile formats you want to convert
to Octopus, just send me an example and the format of it.

Enjoy!
