Hi ST freaks,

Hereby we proudly present yet another issue of ST NEWS, the last
one that will appear in 1986; in Januari 1987 we will publish the
next issue: ST NEWS Volume 2 Issue 1.

We have come a long way since we launched the first issue of ST
NEWS, Volume 1 Issue 1, back in July of this year. We then started
as a quite not-so-legal hacker's magazine, but later on we became
straight and we think the quality of ST NEWS has since then been
greatly improved. We are now publishing program listings, we are
answering reader's questions, and lots more. We have gained a review
status at several software houses, so we can now (p)review the very
newest software available anywhere in Europe.

You might have heard from us already, since we have been launching
a grotesque advertisement offence throughout Germany and Holland,
sending information about this bulletin to about 50 usergroups in
these countries. We now also have a sole distributor for Southern
Europe, situated in Italy. Needless to say, we're now looking for
distributors in Germany, France, England, Australia and the U.S.A.

So here lies our newest offering. Just like ST NEWS Volume 1 Issue 5,
is has turned out to be a little bit big in size, and it might be
possible that the bulletin bearly fits into memory together with
your word processor. If you have a half-megabyte ST with TOS still
on disk, you can just forget it; it won't load into the available
memory - there just isn't enough. Whe you have 250 K memory free
in your wordprocessor, you will find it a bit difficult, still!

This time, we have added quite a lot of items on disk, which you will
find listed here:

article about interrupts that was published in
ST NEWS Volume 1 Issue 5
LINKAPP.BAT A batch file (example) is you want to Link a

What to do if you haven't got enough memory:

     1) Print the document out on paper.
     2) Make sure to have noc desk accesories, RAMdisks
or large DESKTOP.INF files on board.
If this doesn't help, try turning your machine
off and on again, and starting up your word
processor without having loaded any document
                    before you load ST_NEWS.DOC.

If you still have problems after that, please contact us immediately
so we can be of assistance to you. Please do not contact us if you
have an un-expanded normal ST (512 Kb) with TOS on disk.
