Special driver for hard disks attached to Atari Mega STE via modified ACSI-SCSI adapter.
Tested on Mega STE. Accesible capacity limit is 2000GB. (32-bit addressing).
Updated at Okt. 2010 for working together with other ACSI devices.

Easy data transfer between PC and Atari is goal. Therefore DOS partitioning is supported. Drive must be partitioned on PC, and on Atari FAT16 BigDOS partitions will be usable (33MB -2GB). Freeware program BigDOS must be started from AUTO folder for correct work. Recommended partition sizes are up to 511MB, because of speed.
Do not use partitions under 32MB by bigger drives (over ~100MB) - because BigDOS will disable them. By smaller drives make all partitions under 32MB, and then no need for BigDOS (use logical unit size of 1024 bytes by format (set)).
There is XHDI support together with FAT32 support. FAT32 will work only under Mint. To get Mint working copy at it's partition begin AUTO (with MINT000.PRG) and MINT directories (+TERADESK for instance). Don't put BigDOS in AUTO folder by Mint! It may be any partition - just swap it with C by autoboot to enter Mint.

Autoboot: it is possible on Atari even with PC partitioned disks.
Run program AUBMAD08.PRG from floppy for install. Place BigDOS (in AUTO folder) at begin of C partition and all other ones from which plan to boot, so it can be accessed before executes !
To avoid driver loading after reset hold down ALT key.
MACS_71.PRG is for running/installing driver from floppy, and is otherwise same as above.

In V 0.81 added Hole creation option and some driver core improvements.
Hole makes possible running of many old games from hard disk, with TOS 2.06.
It moves GEM, AES, hard disk driver, buffers, BIGDOS over 512KB (or 1MB by selecting), so games which run at low RAM locations will not conflict with system.
Press 8 for Hole of 512KB or 0 for Hole of 1MB (2MB RAM min) while driver
loads after boot. After it may select boot partition by need.

On adapter switches must be set to ACSI target 0.
Transfer speed is about 1-1.2 MB/sec, depending of drive.
Note: there is no other driver which can access over 1 GB with modified adapter. ICD uses different method to send advanced SCSI commands for larger drives.
Hddriver and ICD driver will work with this mod, but are limited on 1 GB still.

Working together with some other ACSI device, as Satandisk. UltraSatan :
it is possible with this drivers. Just set Satan to ID 5, US to 4-5 .
Works not with ICD AdSCSI ST adapters, because they are for ID 0 too.
