Trackcopy (TRACC) - floppy utility for Atari ST computers
   V 0.9

For what is it good?

Creation of common format (ST, MSA) disk image files from floppies.
May create image files from all non-copy protected floppies: at double
 - density single sided (360KB) up to 11 sector/track, double sided,
86 tracks (over 930KB). This version requires min 2MB RAM.
Program first reads whole disk in RAM, and after it may select further
actions: save as ST image, save as MSA or compressed MSA image.
Or writing content to some other floppy.
Question mark in 'Sector/track' is for detecting sectors on floppies.
Usually is enough to read only couple tracks to see how many
sectors per track floppy has. After it may need to set detected value,
reading will be much faster. Of course, before saving as image file
it must be set to some value. Maybe in future I will add STT format
support, where variabile sector layout per tracks is supported.

Reverse operation - writing image file to floppy from ST and MSA images:
load first with "Load ST" (or MSA) image then may select by need write to
A or B drive, with or without format.
May do ST-MSA and vs. conversion by loading in one and saving in
another format.

Program may work as ACC or PRG. ACC is preferred way, as then may
operate with RAMdisk content. As PRG can do floppy read to image file,
floppy writing from image file, format conversion and even RAMdisk
creation, but not saving it's changed content later as image file
or by writing to drive.

View/change image file content, RAMdisk handling:

Rename program to TRACC.ACC and restart desktop in medium
resolution. After loading some image file, or reading floppy into RAM
user will with checking " AS RAMDISK" activate RAMdisk O, which
contents loaded image. Then may by exiting ACC perform usual file
operations as copy, delete etc, with desktop or some util. After it back
to ACC and may save RAMdisk content as ST or MSA image file,
or write it to floppy.
Of course may read/load another floppy or image in any time.
If you are not sure that floppy or image file what read/load is
regular one best decheck 'AS RAMDISK' before.
After read/load click on it. In case of some invalid parameters it
will not create RAMdisk, just print info about invalid BPB.
Some options as Read BPB and Log still not work.
But main operations work.
Now Falcon compatible.
