Load Fonts

Used to load in Calamus fonts. Fonts are only limited by
the amount of memory(RAM) available within the computer.
All Calamus fonts have the ".CFN" filename extension.
Fonts installed will be visible within the "Font" menu box
from the "Text" module.

Calamus uses scaleable vector fonts to display characters
for both on screen and printer. The advantage of using this
type of font technology is that smooth characters are
viewed to ensure proper alignment in document for 100% true
WYSIWYG. Fonts are scale-able to a maximum of 999.9 points.

Calamus does not have the necessary built in algorithms to
produce pseudo bold and italic type styles. To incorporate
these styles, you will have to install
the actual font.

-TIPS-

You will notice whenever Calamus is
redrawing a text column frame it slows
down. Since the fonts used are outline
vector, they have to be recreated(drawn
and filled) on the fly all over again.

                                                   <Page 2>

Avoid as much as possible the editing of text directly
within text frame. Do all editing using the Calamus
built in text editor.
