Open text editor

Used  to  display  Calamus  built  in text  editor  window on
screen. Content of text frame will appear  within editor only
if previously selected before clicking on  this icon command.
The text editor will let  you set the display  view in either
"plain text" or  "parameters". Viewing "parameters" mode will
display all the various control codes the text  was formatted
with,  while  "Plain text"  will  show  text  content without 
control codes. 

The "Block Start" and  "Block End" functions under the "Text" 
menu are fully functional within the text editor. 


Text editor icons explained from left to right:

Icon 1: Transfer content of selected text frame into text 
        editor for manipulation.

Icon 2: Flow edited text back into selected frame and exit 
        window off screen.

Icon 3: Delete text content from within window.

Icon 4: Flow text back into text frame, replacing its 
        content.

Icon 5: Used to toggle text control codes within text editor.
   
 
Editing Text Styles Within Window

When  using  the text editor in  "Control code" mode, you can
call up the "Edit style" dialog  box.  This  dialog  box will
allow you to change the  type size, type style and font.  The
control code style in window is shown as:
 
      [STYLE TIME 50, c1,10, OUTLINED]

         STYLE TIME 50 = Time font
         c1            = text color
         10            = text size
         OUTLINED      = text style

If  you  click  over this  style  bracket,  the  "Edit style"
dialog box will be  displayed. Enter  the attributes you wish
to  change and  click  on the "OK" button to  exit dialog box
and update text style in window.

To use text editor window:

Select  text frame and  click on the  "Open text editor" icon
command  to  display  text  editor  window. Start typing text
within  window.  Use  "Icon 2"  to  flow  prepared  text into
selected text frame.
