Define macro

Used to  define text macros. When selected a dialog box will
be displayed offering various options used to define macros.
If no text is highlighted in frame, Calamus will assume that
you will save the entire frame content as a macro.  

Within the displayed dialog box are the following options:

Macro name: Assign   name   to  macro  being  created within
            the selected macro text field.

Macro key: Key  press  combination   to  give   macro  being
           defined.

Save text rulers: Save  ruler  information  to  macro  being 
                  defined.  Example:  tabs,  line  and  word
                  spacing etc.

Save style: Save text style attributes  to macro  name being
            defined. Example: superscript and underline etc.

Save text: Save text used to define the  macro.

Defining macro:

Select  text frame and type in  desired text. Add text size,
style or rastering attributes etc. Select text field in menu
box   to  assign   macro by clicking over it. Highlight text
modified  with attributes. Select the  "Define  Macro"  icon
command.  See the "Define Macro"  command  icon  description
above for the list of options in the displayed  dialog  box.
Enter the necessary  configurations and click  on  the  "OK"
button  to  process  and  exit  dialog  box. Finally,  click
on  the  "Save Macro List"  icon   function  to  save  macro
permanently to diskette or hard drive.
