Chapter Numbering

Used  to set the chapter numbering type and starting number.


-TIPS-

To  create  a  chapter, you  will  need to  insert a chapter 
variable   within  the  text  frame.  Chapter   variable  is
inserted  using the "Insert chapter numbering" icon function
which  is located  within the "General text functions"  menu
box from the "Text" module.


When creating chapters you will need the following:

      (a) Text frame. 
      (b) Inserting chapter number variable.
      (c) Chapter Numbering menu command. 
      (d) Reformat Document menu command.

To use:

Select the "Chapter  numbering" command from  the page menu.
A  dialog  box  will  be  displayed. Select  the number type
for  chapter  using the  option  buttons  provided and enter
the starting numbers  within  the  value  field according to
the  chapter levels. Select the  "OK"  button to exit dialog
box. Finally,  use  the  "Reformat  Document"  command under
the  "Text" menu  to   recalculate   and  insert  the actual
chapter number type  and starting number.
