Text Menu

Insert Mode

This menu command is implemented only within the Calamus
built in text editor. Since the current content of the text
editor will be affected, you will have to use the
"Flowback and close editor" or "Flow text into layout"
icon to flow altered text back into text frame. These icons
are located at the top left of the text editor.

Calamus text editor input mode is set on "Insert"(default).
Meaning, if there is any text after the cursor when typing,
it will be pushed back to the right.

A visible check mark at left of the menu function means
it is activated, otherwise the "Insert Mode" function is
off.

Content of text frame will flow into the editor, only if
that text frame is selected before clicking on the "Open
text editor" icon within the "General text functions" menu.

Refer to page XIV-4 in the Calamus manual.
