PICTURE-ROTATE-MODULE
=====================

The ROTATE-Module offers the possibility to rotate pictures by free angle.
Without ROTATE images can only be rotated in steps of 90.
Rotating a picture can be aborted by pressing the SHIFT-ALTERNATE-CONTROL-Keys.

Important: The ROTATE-Module is changing the pixel-data of the rotated pictures.
Because of that ROTATE offers options to restore the unrotated data.

Usage:

Enter the desired angle in the input-field in the middle of the module-panel.
The five icons below offer options which take effect on all selected
picture-frames:

Rotate Original
Rotates the original-picture frame by the entered angle. The original-data
is beeing changed.

Rotate Copy
A copy of the selected picture-frame is rotated by the entered angle. After
the action took effect, there are two frames: the unrotated original and the
rotated copy.

Rotate and save original
Rotates the selected images by the entered angle. The original-data are beeing
kept invisible for later use.

Undo Rotate
This option is available only if the picture was rotated with the "Rotate
and save original"-option. The rotated picture will be deleted and the original
data will be restored.

Delete saved original
This option is available only if an invisible original is attached to the frame
by the "Rotate and save original"-option. It deletes the invisible original and
releases the used memory.

Additional Features:

The two icons on top of the panel can be toggled on or off and change
the result of the rotation:

Antialiasing

The pixel-structure of an image can cause ugly artefacts when it is
rotated. Especially straight lines change more or less into "stairs".
The remedy is "Anti-aliasing" which fills hard edges with additional
pixels to smooth these edges.

Generate Mask

A mask is placed over the rotated image to smooth the edges.
If you use this option with pictures which are scaled non-proportional
it is possible that the mask does not fit the image exactly.
