Ok!  I suppose I could have expressed myself better in the original post too.

It's a bad habit of mine, to fall into a form of language when I explain things
to others, that most other people use mainly for sarcasm and satire.
You know, the sort of over-precise expressions that emphasizes small details.

I never (almost anyway) use sarcasm or satire myself, but use this form of
expression because I often have to explain technical matters to non-technical
people, who then need every detail explicitly described to understand the whole.

I do know that this should not be necessary in the STiK list, but habits of
language are very hard to break, especially on a temporary basis.

I guess that is one reason why many of the debates and discussions I take part
in start off rather hot and then cool off, when people find that the satirical
or sarcastic 'point' they evidently expect me to deliver simply never comes.
