>Hi Ronald

Hi Peter, I'm very relieved to hear from you at last. It has been
over two and a half months since your last Email and I was really
worried that something bad might have happened to you yourself,
rather than just to your ISP account. I'm very glad it was not so !

>I noticed you tried to contact LZH to get in touch with me again.

Yes, I've tried all methods I could think of to reach you. I even
sent a snail-mail letter earlier, but evidently I've mixed up your
new and old addresses. I used the 'Kriegerstrasse' address, and
that simply came back marked 'address unknown'.
(I seem to have lost your new address...)

That would be easiest of course, to continue were you left off in the
beta list etc, but perhaps you should reconsider for the long run.
If they did it to you once, they might do it again...

Ok. If you need a temporary posting space, my page site is at your
disposal. Just send me any stuff you want on the pages, and I'll
put that in a subfolder of my own account. Entry to your page can
then be made either/or from my own page and some alias.

It might also be a good idea to make the new public page address an
'atari.com' alias, so you can easily move it between any different
physical sites. This would be the easiest way to make a permanently
functional link, with glitchfree transition to your own new account.

Well, that is their right of course, and I suppose there might have
been abuses in the past that make it necessary. I know that this
has been the case for many other companies.

STinG stuff:

In your absence I have taken the liberty of releasing to the beta
list a modified version of the TCP patch I sent you earlier. That
version I sent to you still contained some bugs that affected the
STinG-based servers. A later version, released just a few days
ago (still only to the beta-list) appears to be bug-free. At least
both Olivier and Vassilis have confirmed that it works error-free
with their servers, as well as with all the clients used for tests.

If you wish I can send you my patches for merging into your sources,
but as I am not sure what this 'gmx' account will handle I will not
do so at this time. Please tell me when and how you want them.

Finally, I hope that you shortly find your way back onto the net with
an ISP account of your own again. The STinG project urgently needs a
new public release, since it is now over a year since the last partial
update was made available to the public.
