Subject: [ICQdev] ICQ clone

Hi there,

For now this is just to let you all know that someone is working on
something.

I wrote a simple code to log onto the icq server and check which people
on
my notify list is online. The code was very messy, so currently I'm
doing a
rewrite of it. When the clone has become somewhat useable I will mail an
url
to it, and start writing a gtk interface for it.

As for the protocol, I think
command 0x0028 could be a 'You have been silent for too long, hanging
up'
packet, and
command 0x00F0 could be a 'I do not know you, go away' packet. (Oh btw,
maybe I read the commands backwards, should they be 0x2800 and 0xF000 ?)

What do you think?
