Install

You should have a 1 MB memory to run Joe application. If you want to
call the browser with Joe you should have at least 2 MB memory.

 1) Copy JOE.PRG and JOE.RSC of the same archive, together, anywhere on
your hard (or floppy) disk. The resource file must be placed beside
    the program.
If your operating system is able to handle color icons you can replace
the normal resource by one situated in the GOODIES folder: rename
JOE_C.RSC to JOE.RSC and put it beside the program.

Some files are proposed in Joe's archive, for example the text macros
file (*.MAC) and the kurzels file (*.KRZ). Copy them beside the program
    to use them utterly.

If the information (*.INF) or configuration (*.CFG) files are in the
archive, this is a mistake - do not take them.

 2) Launch JOE.PRG and choose the pathfiles for the applications
such as the browser, the external programs, Joe's modules, the default
paths for the edited files, the library paths, the kurzels... (F2 Key)

In the Miscellaneous, indicate the maximum line number Joe can
handle. 3000 lines is a good compromize. If you have less memory,
minorize this value, but know that Joe will not edit more than this
    line number. (F3 Key)

Indicate (with a loading) a text macros file (*.MAC) in the text macros
    window. (F4 Key)

 3) Save the configuration with the JOE.CFG name beside the program and
terminate Joe. This will be the default configuration loaded at every
    Joe's launch.

 4) If you are under a multitasking OS and the following is not done,
write the environment variables for OLGA, BubbleGEM and ST-GUIDE,

    for example in MAGX.INF:

    #_ENV OLGAMANAGER=path+filemane of OLGA
    #_ENV BUBBLEGEM=path+filenemae of BUBBLE
    #_ENV STGUIDE=path+filename of ST-GUIDE

Declare also the path and filename of JOE.PRG in the OLGA.INF
    (at [Applications] level).
