Soft fonts for HP LaserJet and compatibles
------------------------------------------

This folder contains several soft fonts for LaserJet II / III and compatible
printers. With the LaserJet III the portrait-format fonts can also be used
in the landscape-format. Note that with these soft fonts print attributes
(such as bold, italic, underlined etc.) are not possible since there are no
suitable internal fonts available.

TI038R23.USP : "Tiny" by Andreas Bagge; Character width 23 cpi, line spacing
12 lpi, US character-set, portrait mode, 7-Bit; (NO Umlauts possible).

TI038R25.R8P : "Tiny" by Andreas Bagge; Character width 25 cpi, line spacing
12 lpi, Roman8-character-set, portrait mode, 8-Bit.
For older LaserJets that only have Roman8 character-sets available (needs a
special character adaptation ATARI->Roman8 in the IDA file).

TI038R25.PCP : "Tiny" by Andreas Bagge; Character width 25 cpi, line spacing
12 lpi, PC8 character-set, portrait mode, 8-Bit.
For LaserJets that have a PC8 character-set built in (only needs a standard
character adaptation in the IDA file, such as for e.g. Epson printers).

LI037R33.PCP : "Lili"; Character width 33.33 cpi, line spacing 20 lpi and up
to max. 25 lpi, PC8 character-set, portrait mode, 8-Bit.
Those finding the print too faint (spares toner!) should select the "Bold"
attribute.

See also the *.CSA files for the character-set adaptations.

If you have created your own soft fonts, or possess suitable PD-fonts, then
please send me a copy. When I have collected sufficient fonts, you will get
your disk back filled. Isn't that something?
