1. What is it?

This util is only useful for CT60 owners.
It replaces the original CT60 boot image
   with a new one.

2. What do I need?

You need an Atari with 68020 or better
   processor, an original ct60tos.bin,
and a 320x240x24bit unpacked Targa image.
Plus some guts, as YOU ARE DOING THIS AT
   YOUR OWN RISK!

3. How do I do it?

   a) Place the unmodified ct60tos.bin file
into the same dir as ctpic.ttp.

   b) Drop a valid Targa file onto ctpic.ttp

   c) Wait a couple of seconds, READ the messages
printed to screen, especially the thing
about doing this at YOUR OWN RISK.

   d) Flash newtos.bin with the normal CT60
      flashprogram.

   e) Reboot and watch your new pretty boot.

4. DISCLAIMER

-> YOU ARE DOING THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! <-

THERE IS NO WARRANTY, THE AUTHOUR CAN NOT BE
   HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR EVENTUAL DAMAGE!!

If something goes to hell, you can enter
68030-mode and reflash the original image.

-> YOU ARE DOING THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! <-

5. Valid Targa files.

   a) The Targa MUST be 320x240x24bits UNPACKED.
   b) The filesize of such an image MUST be 230418 bytes.

6. Creating a valid targa file.

I have only used APEX myself, it works OK.
Enter APEX in 320x240 hicolour mode, load
anypicture you like and save out as Targa.

Photoshop creates some sort of meta-icon inside
the Targa which will not work (at least in OSX).
Loading the Photoshop Targa to APEX and re-save it
   works fine however.

7. Source.

Is included, please update it as you wish, but please
report back eventual improvements (like supporting
   more file formats).

It assembles with HiSoft gen.ttp assembler.

8. That's all.

Just remember, YOU'RE DOING THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
