Fellas,

Joe is right. It's the paper centering problem. The DeskJet manual
says that when inserting paper, it should be flush against the right
side of the tray. Of course, since I follow directions, :^) I did
this. To test Joe's theory, I put a sheet of paper flush against the
=left= side, and the letters on our test page were off-center in the
other direction.

Ah, finally, the problem is solved. Thanks for the help, everyone!

Any suggestions as to how I should compensate with SL? My initial
thoughts are that I will just use the Page Layout function, once it's
implemented, and test that a few times until I get something that I
like.

Between this experience and the problem with the power supply on my
Supra V.32bis modem, I've had enough problem solving for a while! :^)

Thanks again everyone!

Ed,

You can group all the frames on a page then move the grouped
frame the necessary distance. Just click on the "X-Y" box in the top
right of your screen, add or subtract the needed value to the "X"
value and the whole page will move.

BTW you can do a "select all" followed by "group frames" then
select the offset fram function reset the "X" distance and ungroup
the frames all without using a mouse if you use key buindings.
