Works in medium or high resolution. Uses less than 9kb when
not in use, less than 30kb when activated. Mag!x/MagiC 2.1
compatible.

The following facilities are available:-

     Versatile delay calculation given the beat
     subdivision and the tempo.

     Approximate frequencies covered by various
     instruments.

     An typical example of instrument panning in a
     stereo mix.

     A summary of General Midi Sound Set Groupings.

     A sample size calculator. At this version there is a restriction
     of about 32 Mb. to the sample size, so please enter sensible 
     values for the time (in secs) & frequency (in KkHz)!
           
     A practical display of Sound Pressure Levels
     measured in Decibels related to everyday situations.

     Some useful facts & figures.

New at version 1.2:-

     A notepad screen where you can enter your own notes. They
     will automatically be saved to disc when you press the Done
     button.

     Full General Midi Percussion Map.

There should be 4 files on the disk:-

     MUSICALC.TXT   This file!
     MUSICALC.RSC   The resource file. Must be in the same
                    directory as the accessory or program.
     MUSICALC.ACC   The accessory version of the program.
     MUSICALC.PRG   The standalone version. (just in case
                    you wanted one).

Installation is simple. Just copy the resource file and the
version of the program you require into the root directory
of your boot disk. (Usually C:\).

Within the next few months version 1.3 of Musicalc will have
been completed. New features will be:-


     Midi Code & Message Information.
     Midi cable information.                    

     Various Conversion Table Facilities - The program
     will do the conversions for you. (Maybe!)

     Removal of the 32Mb. restriction on the Sample size
     Calculator.
