                      Copyright Thomas Sahlin 1997

STEqualizer v1.0 lets you adjust all the sound that comes out of your
computer (if you have an STE, Mega STE or TT that is). It uses the
Microwire interface to achieve this. STEqualizer runs as both ACC and PRG,
just rename the program file to switch this. It has not been tested on
resolutions below ST-HIGH res, so you might want to do this with caution.

Using STEqualizer v1.0 you can adjust the following things:

   * Volume - Adjusts the main output volume. To change the value either
click and hold down the left mouse button over the control, or use the
up and down arrow-keys on the keyboard. You can see the exact value in
     the display.
   * Bass - Adjusts the amount of bass in the output sound. Change the
value in the same way as you change the volume, except you use the
keys <4> and <7> on the keyboard instead.
   * Treble - Just what it says. The fast keys are <5> and <8>.
   * Balance - The keys for this is the left and right arrow-keys.
   * ST-MIX - This adjusts how the sound generated by the Yamaha sound chip
is mixed with the DMA sound. Just press the button to change the
     value.

If you want to hear an example sound just press the Test button. Turn
the sound off again with the same button.
Your settings are always automatically saved in a file called
STE_EQ.SET. If you have installed STEqualizer as an accessory, the
settings found in this file will be initiated on boot up!
