TEXT for DEMO session DRUMS_01.ALL

The Brain Wave Laboratory

Marc Marc October 2001

====================================

This demo shows you how to use drums for energizing sessions.
It uses a MIDI device (either external or virtually via the sound card)
These demo sessions show that the BWL software, although it is not specialised
in generating Music, can be used for a powerful rhythmical drive.

The following sections are included (see Notes at the bottom before executing these sessions)

[1] "Get Started"
Heavy drums to energize before going into good times on a party or disco.
Use this yourself and let your guests (when any) have the experience too.

[2] "Continued level"
The same purpose as [1] but, more energy and more house party style.
For those who can use some extra.

[3] "Crazy Horse"
The same as [1] but a little crazy.
Suits probably to the young ones among us whom are into heavy music.

[4] "Smooth Breath"
Now we switch to some more relax sounds but higher the LED (goggles) frequency a lot.
It combines 'slow' sounds with energizing LED frequencies.

[5] "Breath"
The same as [4] but more energizing sounds.

[6] "Feet Excersise"
To focus and stimulate your dancing willing feet as a matter of moving exercise.
Extend the time of the presets within this section when you like certain speed / rhythm.

[7] "Earth 1"
This session is meant as an after-party session.
It combines slow drums with a spacy synth sound and a high frequency LED drive.
This is what you use when you had a good time, are tired and satisfied but,
	not ready for bed yet.
Be aware that this session created strong after-images when you are laying in you bed.

[8] "Earth 2"
The same as [7] but now the 'drums' are softly.

[9] "Earth 3"
The same as [7] but softly

[0] "Collect drive in 7"
This is a collection of presets that do not form a session together.
Just scan through it and what you like you use for an own made session.
	[F1]	Sirene 1
	[F2]	TakTak 1
	[F3]	Industrial 1
	[F4]	Bells 1
	[F5]	Doom 1
	[F6]	TickTick 1
	[F7]	Machine 1
	[F8]	Bells 2
	[F9]	Doom 2
	[F10]	Quark 1

Notes:
------
The MIDI presets for drums, based on general MIDI should be between preset
number 117 and 119 (120 = sort of Cymbal).

You have to make sure that your MIDI engine suits to this or change the settings.

There are 9 sequences included and 1 collection section.

You simply select one of the numbers [1]...[9][0] in the SEQUENCER MENU and hit
the right mouse key to start the session.

You have to make sure that in the LED/PRESET menu [F1] is selected to start the session with
and that in the Sequencer the [VV] (double check box) is selected.

The time of the sessions is kept short because it's a demo
Feel free to extend the time for those sections or presets in the sessions that you like
and personalize them to your needs.

!!! If you like certain sessions (sections or presets) I advise you to modify nd save them
and seperately save them into your owm directory and file name.
