Places not to miss in your tour of Lyramion:
The X&Y addresses are given by the Locator device. You can use these
addresses without the device to get a rough idea of locations. X0 Y0
is at the top left corner of the map. There is not as much water to
the east and west of Lyramion as the map indicates.
A pick is an essential piece of equipment in most of the underground
or tower areas away from Twinlake and Crystal. You can get a pick from
Donner's house, the Tomb of the Pharoah, and from the Tool Shop in
Gemstone. Most rockfalls you encounter can be cleared with a pick.

Twinlake        X211 Y215
    The game starts here. Points of interest include Sir Marillon's
    Crypt, Chancellor Karwain's house, The Dancing Dragon,
    Merchandise Shop, Sunny's neighborhood, Your Parents' House,
    Guild of Warriors, and the House of Shandra.
 Sewers of Twinlake - Get the key from the Chancellor. The Old Ring
    you find here can be traded to the cook at the Dancing Dragon for
    a useful item.
 Dancing Dragon Winecellar - You can pick up a crowbar in the barrel
    at the top of the stairs.
 Sir Marillon's Crypt - Be sure to check out the pools in the crypt.
    Mention Gwendolyn to the ghost to get the key to the vault.
 Thieves' Guild - Is behind a false wall in the Dancing Dragon.
     Cyriis the cat will tell you where after you clean out the
     sewers.

Crystal         X235 Y119
    The other major city in Lyramion. Be sure to visit The Jewel
    Guesthouse, The house of Lord Chancellor Drebin, Firlas the seer,
    and the Guild of Paladins.
 Orlando's Wine Cellar - Mention 'problem' to Orlando. Be sure to
    bring a crowbar. This connects to a secret tunnel that leads to
    the offshore island shown on the map. The key Orlando gives you
    for his goblet opens a fancy lock in town.
 Chancellor's Basement - Be sure to study the pictures upstairs
    first; you'll be quizzed! You need Drebin's signet ring to get
    in. This is in Jonathan's lab in the Villa outside Twinlake.
 Firlas - Needs the bone that your dog Spike is carrying. You can
    find Spike in the kitchen of your parents' house.

Gemstone        X130 Y365
    The city of Dwarves. Visit the Tavern, Torbus the Tool merchant,
    Thelloc's Store, and Drollnur's Jewels.

Illien          X157 Y134
    Visit Pelanis, Guardian of the Eyrie. Find Bothor, the dwarf
    jewel trader. Check out the Inn. Study the statues. Patronize
    Lendis' Herb Store and Toleis' Potions Shop.

    Mention 'Quest' or 'Amberstar' to Baltar.

Guardhouse of the Eternal Guards    X214 Y058
    Follow the road northwest out of Crystal.

Dragon Keep     X102 Y077
    You get the Dragon Egg for Pelanis here. Once you deliver the
    egg, you are given a whistle for calling Eagles. This eliminates
    all your transport problems! Eagles can be called from any
    outdoor location outside of cities. They can drop you inside
    cities if you wish.

Tower of Gray Wizards   X090 Y138
    Located on an island just southeast of the mouth of the
    Adlerhorst.

The Villa (Jonathan's house)    X232 Y196
    This contains the most information of any location in Lyramion.
    Do not use the Transporter on the first level of the cellar until
    you have gotten Jonathan's key from the dragon nest! When you
    reach the lab, be sure to search every square inch! It is loaded
    with objects! You will find a Tunnel Key which opens the link
    between the Villa basement and the Dancing Dragon wine cellar.

House of the Riddlemaster   X377 Y361
    Here you get the key to the Riddle Tower.

Tower of the Riddlemaster   X365 Y368

Tower of Black Wizards  X265 Y306
    You need the Sphere of Opening to access the Tower. Trasric knows
    it is hidden in a flowerpot in Olfin's room at the Jewel in
    Crystal. The tower is at the head of the valley between the two
    ranges of the Bollgar Berge. If you don't have an eagle you need
    a ship to reach it.

Tower of the White Wizards      X279 Y167
    This is shown on the map - it's the building NE of Twinlake.

Rangers Guild       X081 Y233
    This is on an island in the Westbucht. Be sure to mention
    'Amberstar' to Annorel.

Old Ranger Guild    X309 Y108
    It's on one of the Five Sisters Islands in the Groke Bucht, but
    you can't get in without the Staff of Opening from Annorel at the
    Rangers Guild.

Swamp Station       X172 Y286
    This is a building on the north edge of the Gralsumpfe. Take note
    that you cannot camp down in the drains!
    You need eight gems to reach the Locator Device:

Halls of Peace      X315 Y075
    In northern mountain fringe on Seufzerwuste peninsula.

Snakesign Village   X217 Y345
    This can only be reached by air, Windgate, or with a Teleport
    Spell. Visit the Tower Inn and the Merchant of Snakesign.

Temple of Sansri    X199 Y357
    Be sure to bring a pick! The wall from the entrance hall opens
    ten minutes before midnight. Bug alert! Do not attempt to save
    and restore in the area with the snakesign and the moving walls.
    You can become walled in with no escape!

Isle of Winds       X119 Y314
    (Insel der Winde) this is the terminus for all twelve windgates.
    Once you have the eagle whistle, these are just curiosities.

Mera's House        X140 Y265
    She's a mean old witch, but you can do her a favor by retrieving
    her broom from the Sprite Caves in her back yard. She also enjoys
    making brews out of mushrooms. If one of your characters gives
    her a mushroom, that character gets:
        Red Mushroom:  +5 Strength
        Blue Mushroom: +5 Speed
    There are a number of these mushrooms scattered around Lyramion.

Donner's Mine       X090 Y359
    In the mountains west of Gemstone. Bothor sends you to Donner,
    then Donner sends you back to Bothor to get the password for the
    Doras mine. Afterward Donner removes an Amberstar piece from the
    crown you retrieve from the Doras Mine.

Doras Mine          X260 Y224
    Due east of Twinlake, between the swamp and the large circular
    mountain area. This is the only place in the game where you
    really need the Levitation Spell.

Tomb of the Pharoah     X289 Y269
    In the mountain wall on the north side of the desert north of the
    Bollgar Berge.

The Whirlpool       X146 Y011
    This is how you reach Ship's End Village and the Realm of
    Manyeye. If you use a ship, it will be lost!
 Ship's End Village (via Whirlpool - proceed through swamp)
    Speak to Sheba and Atacar. Atacar will trade you a treasure map
    for a packet of herbs. Herb packets can be found in some
    dungeons, but you can buy them from the Snakesign Merchant.
 Castle of Manyeye (proceed south and west from the village)
    You'll be needing that pick again! You need to first go up the
    four sets of stairs in the four corners before using the center
    stairs. At the top of each corner stairway you must find a hidden
    hallway and step on a floor switch. This opens things up for you
    at the top of the center stairway, which leads to Manyeye himself.
