                        THE BLITTER:

No brainblasting news about the Blitter, although Atari promised an
improved blitter, it seems, they only designed it for 16MHz and make some
operations a little faster. If it's pipelined or optimized in general is not
really proovable by software, you have to check the hardware-connexions of the
blitter (which I didn't as I have guaranty till summer and so refuse to open
my Falcon!).
The reserved and unused bits in the HOP, OP, SKEW, Busy registers are not used
like on the ST blitter. Maybe there are any new blitter registers at another
place, in the ST-adress-room there aren't.

For informations about the Blitter coding, look in ST literature, like the
ST/E/TT Profibuch by Sybex or the ST-Intern by Data Becker (I don't know
equal english literature, sorry...)

                        THE HARDWARESCROLLING:

The hardwarescrolling works on any resolution and any number of planes, except
of True Colour, on which you do not need a fine-scroll register of course,
just increse or decrement the video-adress by 2 (for one pixel horizontal scr-
olling).
It is the same register as on STE, look for STE documentation for further de-
tails (that means that you cannot scroll planes seperately as some rumours
said before the Falcon030 was released).

                        THE HANDBOOK:

If you own an english book: throw it in your trash or in your oven.
If you got a german book: see english book.
If you got a french book: not tested.

( You don't need any new hardwareregisters to do the last things. )
