To load the games on the Mega DI images and other DI images follow some
of the tips below:

1) Fileselector: written by Bill Kendrick. This one works under MyDOS,
i.e. it is a DOS-Fileloader... it can only load programs that work under
DOS (and there are quite a lot of ML programs that do not). To change
disks, just hit the appropriate disk number on the keyboard.

2) Gameloader: written by a polish guy (???) this one can be loaded from
MyDOS or any other DOS (or from a Gamedos!). It directly frees the
memory (kills the DOS, if one is there) and then loads the ML files. For
binary loading it uses Page 1 (0100-01FF), I guess... there are a lot
more ML files that work with this program... Again, to change disks,
just hit the appropriate disk number on the keyboard.

3) Mypicodos: this is in fact a Gamedos. You load the create file from
DOS and it will create a short Gamedos-loader onto another disk (i.e.
the game disk). Since this is a gamedos it will load all ML files that
do not need a DOS (most game and demo programs). Unfortunately it only
supports higher densities from 360k to 16 megabyte. It does not support
90k/130k/180k (but the Fileselector and the Gamedos both do!). All
Fileloaders support MyDOS sudirectories; only the Fileselector can load
Basic files (all others can merely load ML files). I have never really
gotten this to work. I have been given these steps from a gent named
Andreas:

Copy all your game files (named *.COM) to this disk. next, lock all the
files, you wish to be shown. Finally boot the disk - a menu should
appear and here you can choose the files or dirs/subdirs. Pressing
RETURN or the Fire Button should load a file or change the dir...

4) To load most games follow this procedure. Try to load a game under
Tom's Navigator. Press "N" and move arrows to the disk number of the
game disk. When the list of games comes up, move to the game you want
to play using the arrow keys, then press return. Be sure to be holding
down the "Option" key when you press return. The game should load. If
you get the MyDos screen, it usuall means the game needs Basic to load
in. Reboot the computer and load in the FSelect.com program. Then go to
the same game and it should load in. If it does not, then try the
binary load command under MyDos. If that does not work, email me. Some
games may have not copied over correctly. I had to replace a number of
programs that did not load for me. Being that there is over 800 games,
I did not have enough time to test them all.

Have fun... Edward S. Baiz Jr. (Gamer).. ebaiz@skyenet.net
