SOME HELP FOR OCTALYSER USERS WHO ARE HAVING PROBLEMS.

Help! I can't save the module I've made!
----------------------------------------
Deactivate UCDM. Of technical reasons you can't save a module when
UCDM is activated. You can neither save a sample.

I always run out of memory!
---------------------------
Find the button marked SM in the optionsmenu. SM stands for Save Memory
and with this function you can lower the amount of memory reserved for
patterns. Normaly $40 is more than enough.

It doesn't run with MultiTOS on my Falcon!
------------------------------------------
Deactivate the Memoryprotection.

I can't load samples!
---------------------
You can in the registered version.

I can't save a patternblock!
----------------------------
You can in the registered version.

The computer freezes for 5 seconds before quitting!
---------------------------------------------------
Yet another irritating thing to make you register the Octalyser.

I nearly have no memory at all to run programs from the GEM-door!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The GEM-door is only given 30 kb memory. Register to get a version
where you can set it yourself.

How shall I register?
---------------------
Read the chapter in the manual dealing with this. If you still don't know,
then contact us!

How do I use Octalysermodules in my own programs?
-------------------------------------------------
You can play 4 voice modules with any decent replayroutine.
To be able to play 8 voice modules you need our UCDM-package, you get
it when you register.

Any hard-to-find-features?
--------------------------
You can click on the field marked "songname" to get a samplemenu.

Clicking on the watch will get you to the fullscreeneditor, click in the
left border to get back to the normal editor.

What do I get when I Register?
------------------------------
+ Possibility to load RAW (signed & unsigned), IFF and AVR samples.
+ Save block function.
+ Set the memory consumption.
+ Save options abillity.
+ No 5 seconds delay when quitting.
+ Eventual bugs removed.
+ UCDM replayrouts, moduleconverters and players.
+ Personal support from us if you are having problems.
+ A used stamp from Sweden and a disk :-)

Any known bugs?
----------------
The UCDM-Players Banshee and Naishee might crash now and then.
If you use them while composing, we advice you to save your work every
quarter of an hour.

On my Falcon the screen might flicker madly for a second when entering
the fullscreen editor.

On the STE the sound might disappear for a second while playing if you
have activated line-noise reduction. This is an STE hardwarebug!

The sample display option displays samples wrong on the Falcon, this
part of Octalyser is due to be totally rewritten.

What can I expect in future versions?
-------------------------------------
Some new UCDM Players.
New songformat, taking less memory.
A fully featured sampleeditor with loads of advanced functions.
Midi support.
Samplelist.
Some better designed menues.
More block functions.

Hope this straightened out some questionmarks...
