                          SHORT DESCRIPTION

Connect Atari ST/STE with Atari XL/XE used AFTER interface
(search AFTER files in Internet, then read AFTER documentation). If
you haven't interface, create its yourself. It is very simply
and cheap construction. Use on XL/XE program called AFTER1.INI
(transmission with bars) or AFTER3.INI (transmission with normal
screen). Run JoySTick on ST/STE. You can use 16-bit Atari like
superjoystick for 8-bit Atari. You can:

a) exit to desktop (first icon in left top corner),

b) change viewer (default is image of joystick directs and fire,
next is tracker - not available yet, third is table with statistics,
last is equaliser),

c) change kind of controller you have plug in ST/STE (joystick in port
1, mouse in port 0, keyboard - cursor keys or numeric keys like stick
and space like fire button, joypad STE/Falcon in additional port).
Keyboard and joypad not available yet.

d) set the autofire (off, shoots 50 times on frame, 25 times on
frames, 10 times on frames, 5 times on frame),

e) load 8-bit executable file to ST/STE memory (190 KB buffer) - you
will see small red lamp close to "LOAD GAME" icon when something there
is in memory,

f) send this file (game, demo, util ;-)) use AFTER interface to small
Atari. If program AFTER1.INI or AFTER3.INI is ready, file will be
moved and run. When the transmission is in processing you can see
flash "SEND GAME" icon. Sound signal means the end of transmission.
ATTENTION! About 10 percent of games and demos don't work after
transmission (why? well... many reasons...). Also it's nosense to
moving programs needed DOS (for example to load, save data). They will
be run (about 80 percent of all), but no load and no save files
without DOS.

g) play sets controller (for example: mouse with autofire),

h) stop playing (space bar key),

i) record your joystick moves (directs and fire - digitalizing about
1 time on frame to 190 KB buffer). When in buffer is data of record,
you can see small red lamp close to "LOAD DATA" icon,

j) replay recording moves (we don't know why, becouse it doesn't work
correctly - mayby in next version it will be okey),

k) save recording data (for friends, family, descendants...;-)),

l) load saving record data file (from friends, family, ancestry...;-)),

m) see time of playing (box with S letter) and lenght of game file
(box with L).
